TEAM - NADIM SHOHDY

Dr. Nadim Shohdy joined Hyku Biosciences in 2022. He has over 15 years of experience building early-stage ventures, de-risking biomedical projects, and partnering with academia, biopharma, and nonprofits. Most recently, Dr. Shohdy was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at RA Capital, working on company creation including Mariana Oncology and Hyku Biosciences, supporting RA portfolio companies, and developing best practices on investor-academia collaborations. Previously, he was VP, Corporate Development at Clear Creek Bio, where he was involved in building a new first-in-class antiviral program, a successful partnership with Pfizer, and licensing efforts related to oncology. Dr. Shohdy was Associate Dean of Therapeutics Alliances at NYU School of Medicine, a unique drug discovery accelerator he co-founded and led to many successful partnerships with biopharma, investors, and nonprofits. He also worked in NYU’s technology transfer group and was a Research Analyst at the Innovation Fund of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative. He earned his PhD with distinction in Microbiology from Columbia University and was an NRSA Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Nobel Prize winner Charles M. Rice at Rockefeller University.
