TEAM - MICHAEL STOKES

Michael joined Hyku in December 2023. He is an experienced program lead and drug discovery biologist, with a record of success driving small molecule programs from preclinical development through to early-stage clinical trials. Prior to joining Hyku, Michael was a Principal Scientist at HiberCell, where he led a translational program that supported two novel inhibitors of tumor adaptive stress pathways currently in clinical development. Michael completed his PhD at the University of Toronto and a postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University where he led a collaborative research program that integrated small molecule screening with novel informatic tools to uncover tractable mechanisms driving MYCN-amplified neuroblastoma.
