TEAM - AMY SHIH

Amy Shih joined Hyku Biosciences in July of 2023. She has more than 12 years of drug discovery experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with extensive expertise across a broad array of computational methodologies. Prior to joining the company, she was Associate Director, Head of Computer-Aided Drug Design at Ferring Research Institute where she established a team to enable computational chemistry, molecular modeling and cheminformatics methodologies to drive early small molecule and biologics drug discovery. She held roles of increasing scientific responsibility at Janssen Research and Development and Dart Neuroscience. She received her PhD in Biophysics and Computational Biology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed two Postdoctoral Research Fellowships at Janssen Research and Development and at Beckman Institute for Advanced Sciences and Technology at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
